Oh My

I made a mistake.  Some way, some how,
with a click of the mouse I removed all the comments
posted on Finding Freckles.  Blogghelper says
"Once a comment has been deleted, there is no
way to recover it".  Bummer.  I want to apologize
to those who have taken the time to share and
encourage all who visit to please continue to post
your thoughts and stories.  It is so fun to hear from you.
Thank you!

November 2012 TALK at church.
I felt inspired as a speaker at church read.  I Loved the ideas in the poem like words.  To me it felt like something I might hear when visiting Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.  Mr. Rogers wanted my little self to think big thoughts.  Mr. Rogers knew I was smart.  Mr. Rogers knew I could do anything.  He talked of the good in His neighborhood. He KNEW my neighborhood could be good too.  Looking back I am grateful for the time I spent with Mr. Rogers.  So I emailed the church speaker and the Kind church speaker emailed me the source of this lovelY poem.

People

"To the immature, other people are NOT real".
In Terry Warner's book he shares lots.
He shares lots of good stuff.
The kind of stuff that changed my heart.
Dr. Warner says that these eight words pierced him.
He read these words when HE was abou10.  At that
time he sensed that other people were not real to him.
"Their feelings and desires
did not matter to me as much
as my own; a lot of the time
they didn't matter to me at all".
I am trying to think. Me too?
Could this be true about me too?  Do I see people?
"I was sensitive enough to be
disturbed by my insensitivity.
At that moment, it seemed
to me supremely important to be
a person who cared about people."
Terry teaches.  He is a real thinker.
"To the immature, other people are NOT real".
Tonight I am curious how I might be immature?

Civility

I think.  Some of my favorite thoughts are about THINKING.  P.M. Forni wrote a book about thinking. "The Thinking Life".LOVE what he wrote about thinking. He wrote another book about civility. "Choosing Civility". 25 Rules.  Here is oneForni's ideas are not Ann Landers.  His ideas are bigger and better.  Like Benevolent awareness of others and a willingness to modify one's behavior for the sake of Another. What does Forni thinCivility is?  NICE really does matter.  manners not so much.  I met a super cool Steve in 2012.  He is inspired.  HE is working on a project.  A Civility project.  Cheers!  What I THINK is really GOOD.  Civility can start with ME.  I REaLlY like this Video.

Music

Music lifts me to a place words can not.  When I owned a book store I learned the power of good music.  When my life took an unexpected turn music became my drug of choice.  Walking too.  Now running.  A few years ago KLOVE radio rocked my world.  I am still listening to KLOVE.   Everything feels better when positive and encouraging is playing in my car.  I have lots of favorite songs & artists.  Here are Four.
